ConcreCem for a superior quality concrete
ConcreCem is specifically designed for use as a concrete and mortar improver. ConcreCem is a very fine grain sized powder based on alkali earth metals and synthetic zeolites complemented with complex activator giving it its unique properties.
Characteristics
ConcreCem when added to concrete and mortar increases the strength and flexibility of these products. Addition of ConcreCem provides for strongly improved impermeability against water, salts and acids and delivers significant improvements in heat resistance and overall performance of the finished products.
ConcreCem is able to treat effectively toxic chromium 6 and reduce it to harmless chromium 3.
ConcreCem is generally used in conjunction with cement and improves the quality of the cement, allowing also for the use of lesser quality aggregates. ConcreCem is manufactured in The Netherlands according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14002.
ConcreCem modifies the dynamics and chemistry of the cement hydration process and enhances the crystallization process by forming long needle crystalline structures. By varying the addition of ConcreCem and maintaining the water cement ratio the viscosity of the mixture can be influenced to create faster of slower settings.
ConcreCem for sustainabilit Environment friendly
ConcreCem is environmental friendly and fits in the Clinton Climate Initiative. This is confirmed and reported by Dutch accredited laboratories after investigating the leaching behavior of composite materials for a simulated period of 100 years. Composite materials stabilized/solidified using ConcreCem treated materials have successfully passed the Dutch Environmental Tests and have been certified to be used as Category One Building Materials according to the Dutch Building Materials Decree.
CO2 reduction is a fact
ConcreCem helps to reduce CO2.
Hence, the use of ConcreCem in B35/B40 enables the reduction of CO2 equivalent to 78 kgs per m3.
Technischal aspects that counts
ConcreCem makes the construction of large area slabs possible with fewer or even without expansion joints and with reduced amount of reinforcing steel.
ConcreCem improves workability and reduces the generation of heat during hydration of Cement. It reduces the need for additional additives to an absolute minimum and allows full control of the hydration dynamics and early strength development.
ConcreCem is generally used together with cement in dosages from 0.18 kg to 5 kg per m3 of concrete depending of the required performance characteristics. When used for grouting and injection applications ConcreCem is used in doses from 3 to 10 kg per m3.
