2010 Floods in Mexico
Due to the heavy rains that have occurred in Tabasco in the months of August and September of 2010, caused the flooding in most of the state's rivers, which pass their critical scales and consequently resulting in the overflow of the most of them. Because of these floods was affect 70% of the state and more than 130 000 peoples in 12 municipalities as was report by the governor of that state. In the same way, much of the municipal roads and highways are clogged by water, and several stretches of road have damage ranging from minor to serious. Tabasco is an area of Mexico that is affected every year by floods and storms of high intensity.
Since 2008, México has made PowerCem stabilization works of municipal roads and stretches of highway in Tabasco for the Governement, where our leading product RoadCem has been used. Therefore, Governement and PowerCem Mexico has monitored the projects that have been involved, to know the result of the use of the products of PowerCem Technologies, found after severe flooding, the roads built with RoadCem still in excellent conditions, despite undercuts, wear and corrosion caused by high water levels and degrading agents. NOTE : No asphalt was applied on this Road.
