Canada - Major Oil and Gas Company - Alberta

On the lease site of one of the largest Oil drilling company’s, the contractor provided a service for a total PowerCem based construction. This saved the Oil drilling company 24% on cost of matting, the entire lease which was the only alternative left. On top of that, the Oil company estimated that they could have saved in this project over 90% more by making the decision earlier to use the PowerCem Technology process for this type of site. Cost savings will always be relative to local conditions and severity of weather conditions, our solution eliminates the uncertainty on difficult project sites.

On the lease access roads, the contractor saved the client about 25% on upfront construction costs. Future rebuild and maintenance costs are estimated to be 90% less!!! For a basic 5 km access road in a difficult area but with proven production, savings could easily exceed $500,000.00 over the 5-10 years of production.

On SAGD lease pad estimates thus far, cost savings are approx. to be about 30-40 percent which on these large area heavy load pads is approximately $2,000,000.00 per pad!!!
On Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) of failed asphalt surfaces, the contractor all inclusive cost of $4/sqft compares to competitive pricing of $5.25/sqft. For a small 10,000 square foot lot, the 24% saving is $12,500.00, for a large car lot of 100,000 square feet, the savings would be $125,000.00!!!

On new road constructions with asphalt finish, cost savings will range from 20-50 percent.
