Ricany Urban area

The municipality of  Ricany, near Prague, choose to upgrade an existing gravel road into an urban road with a strong flexural pavement structure. On this urban road houses are build. The gravel road are showing potholes what leads to uncomfortable roads to drive on and a low esthetic character of the road. By stabilizing this gravel soil with RoadCem a strong, flexural and water impermeable cement stabilization will be formed.

 

The material is mixed with RoadCem and Cement. The thickness of the stabilization is  0.25 m thick and on top a thin asphalt surface layer of 0.05 m is applied.

 

In urban areas, Electricity cables, manholes for the sewer system and service pipes are occurring on the road. Special construction methods needs to be applied, to prevent damaging this cables, the cover of the manholes or the service pipes during milling, mixing and compaction.

The project is successfully constructed and finished in three days.
