The town of Tynec is regularly subjected to heavy rain and flooding. Tynec's landscape is mountainous, so periods of heavy rainfall result in a huge volume of water flowing down from the hills into the river beds in the valley. The geographical and meteorological characteristics of the region cause a great deal of damage to the existing infrastructure. This is due to erosion and leaching from the quickly receding water as well as the saturation and consequent weakening of the subsoil in the valley.
In Jesenice, the surfaces of two roads in a residential area were upgraded. Prior to the project, open-texture surfacing was used for the roads. One disadvantage of open-texture surfacing is that it are susceptible to unevenness, rutting and potholes, which makes the roads uncomfortable and unsightly. Open-texture surfaces therefore require frequent maintenance.

In 1996, the middle and the left lane on highway 57, was constructed with a RoadCem stabilization. The exact location is between Queretaro and Mexico City (km 61.200). The highway is frequently monitored by the SCT (Mexican Federal Road Agency) and the IMT (Laboratory for Road materials). Based on a recent visual inspection (17 years later) in 2013 and covered with falling weight deflection tests the conclusion is: that RoadCem stabilization results in a durably pavement, and this is proofed in practice over a period of 17 years.
In the central area of Mexico, between La Piedad and Zamora, is a 14 km highway build with the use of PowerCem Technology, a new section of the Federal Highway 37. In western Czech Republic, a new railway infrastructure is going to be built. Near Plzen, a new tunnel construction is going to be built. For the building of the tunnel, a construction site is to be constructed where offices, car parks, storage centre for equipment, and a visitor centre will be built. The total area of this construction site is approximately 12,000 m2. PowerCem Technologies has been requested to build this pavement infrastructure due to the high reliability of the RoadCem stabilisation, short construction time, and economic profit.
In western Czech Republic a new railway infrastructure is planned. Part of this project, near Plzen, is a new tunnel construction that is going to be built. At the CTP distribution center, the road surface of the access road, which is made of cement paving stones, was collapsing in a number of places. This collapse of the road surface occurs because the foundation under the cement paving stones cannot handle the load of the heavy cargo traffic. By using RoadCem, a product from PowerCem Technologies, the foundation has been strengthened.
Near Prague, a VGP industrial area is constructed. On this pavement structure it is expected that in the future 1.500 tracks a day will use this pavement structure. Due to the demanded structural lifetime of 20 years for the flexural pavement, the high amount of traffic, the short available construction time, the client choose to use a Strong and flexural RoadCem stabilization.
In Saint Petersburg in August 2013, an industrial site was constructed on a landfill. The on-site roads were constructed using RoadCem stabilisation covered with a 5cm layer of asphalt. Saint Petersburg, like most of Russia, is renowned for its extremely cold winters. In the winter of 2013-2014, the lowest recorded temperature dropped below -30oC.
In Issad, 120km to the north-east of Saint Petersburg, a dairy company underwent rapid growth in a very short time. It therefore needed to quickly expand its infrastructure.
